I hadn't planned to post a grand finale photo of the playset, but after spreading an entire dump truck worth of gravel, I'm definitely posting a picture. Holy cow that was hard, hard work. Pea gravel is heavy, and moving it is time consuming. You can only move so much gravel with a shovel, and a wheelbarrow full of rock is really heavy. Even with Justice helping us it took a total of 11 hours to finish the job. We are glad this is what we chose to finish the area though, it looks fantastic and we now have a really thick layer of protection for the little people in our home. It also feels good under the feet and the kids enjoy playing in it.
Ta-da! All finished, and definitely worth it.
