Here is another memento Joe found in the trunk of old goodies he has been slowly sifting through. We read this and had a really, really good laugh. We must have laughed pretty good back then, too or he wouldn't have stashed it away.
Key points here:
"I can finally say..." and "I know you think I hate you, but I really don't."
Clearly from this "card", written a month shy of her 13th birthday, she had already begun that "charming personality" phase of her life that lasted from age 11 till around age 19. She appears to be congratulating him for finally getting her "best Dad" checkmark of approval. So sweet of her. And why in the world would Joe think she hated him? UNLESS she walked around all day acting like it? That's a sweet thing to do, acting like you hate someone that you really love with all your heart. LOL. Ahhhhh, yes.... those were the days. I'm traumatized.
Keep on asking me why I want another boy.
