The Christmas Surprise

Look what Santa brought for Christmas…

Jamaal!

It's been three years since I have seen our oldest son Jamaal.  Justice has missed him terribly, and Jack barely remembered him.  It was great to have him home for a week.  Jamaal and I were very close when he was growing up, and the separation hasn't been fun for me.  I really miss him.

His visit was supposed to be a surprise, but lets just say it takes a whole lot to pull something like that over on me.   I could smell something brewing the day Jamaal booked his ticket, and it didn't take long for me to figure it out.  

I was very happy to see him, and so glad to have him home.  Merry Christmas to me!

And for the record, there was about 30% less of him here.  He has lost well over 100 pounds in the past two years!  Way to go Jamaal, we are so proud of you!
