My First Scout Campout, By Justice

Hi, it's me, Justice.  My Mom asked me to do a blog post about my scout campout.  I said "sure, awesome!"  So here it is.

I had so much fun at my first scout campout. Wow, my first scout campout. I can't believe it.  So I got home from school and saw my mom with my bag and she explained to me what was in it. When she was done telling me what was in it I changed my clothes.  When I was done, I sat on the couch and waited until I had to leave. Daddy was coming with me, but wouldn't be able to drive me there until VROOM VROOM!  DADDY'S HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was so excited that he was here so I wouldn't  have to get a ride with someone else.

We got to the church and we all got ready to head out when we realized we almost forgot to say a prayer.  Jax asked me to say the prayer so I did and we left.  When we started driving Dad realized we needed gas.  So we stopped for gas and I was thirsty, but the line was too long.  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did it have to be me?  We got in the car and drove down the highway and stopped by another gas station and I got a big can of Coke and a Slim Jim. We exited the highway too early and had to stop at another gas station to ask a nice man for directions. When we finally got there we started to set up camp. With a little help from Brother McKinzie we got our tent up in 10 minutes.

When everyone else got their tents up we had dinner.  We had boiled hotdogs.  MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM they were so good.  After that we had s'mores and they were delicious.  I slept with Aiden, Will, Conor, and Steven in a tent.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conor brought his alarm clock so we woke up on time.  He set it for 6:30.  Then we went to sleep.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's time to wake up.  We were in charge of breakfast and I brought bacon.  I cooked it in a pot and it was good.

When we left camp we went to the flag ceremonies.

Then we found out that in order to get our Iron Man Patrol Patch we had to carry one person to each event without putting them down.  When we heard that news everyone looked at me and Will.  WE knew that Will was the one getting carried and I was carrying him.  I did the fireman carry.

The skit was awesome, everybody loved it.

Emergency,what's the emergency?
 Fire, tornado, bombing, accident?
My sister's having a slumber party!
AHHHH,AHHHHH,AHHHHH emergency, emergency!!!!!

Nothing better than tying two sticks together two make a flagpole.  (so sarcastic)

IT'S SO CONFUSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY ISN"T IT WORKING?????????????????????????

WAIT WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's time for lunch.  MMMMMM!!!!!!!! Grilled cheese sandwiches. After lunch it was time for departure.

Goodbye very first scout campout!  I can't wait for the next one! And doing a blog post was fun, I can't wait to do another one.
