The weather was beautiful today so Jack and I took Bo to the park for the very first time. Jack hates the park, because well he pretty much hates anything fun so I nearly had to drag him outside.
"There is nothing to DO at the park!" he lamented to me today. I don't know exactly why Jack doesn't think the park is fun, but I'm guessing it's just because he thinks nothing is fun. This is no exception. "There will be PEOPLE there!" he said. We all know Jack's not real fond of people. But luckily for Jack, there were no people. He and Bo had the run of the entire park.
And Bo spent most of his time messing around in this tube. He walked back and forth through this thing at least 50 times. Just back and forth, back and forth. The only issue was that he was just a teensy bit too tall and kept whacking his head on the top of the tube. No matter to him.
And then he tried the slide. And was having none of that business.
Jack finally got him to go down one time.
And it ended like this. Just like Ralphie on the Christmas Story, he stopped himself before he got to the bottom and tried to climb back up.
So then we tried the swing. He loved the swing as long as Jack was at his beck and call to push him. I was not allowed to push him, every time I tried he got mad and pushed my hands off the swing. He yelled for Jack-Jack every time he slowed down. And he says it like "jack-JACCCCKKKKK"! Not so nicely.
And he hollered the whole time. "Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" like he was on a roller coaster.
And look at those chubby legs. Yum.
He also spent a considerable amount of time on his face. Deep mulch isn't exactly the easiest thing to walk through when you are that little.
Not quite big enough for that. But that also meant that Jack wasn't allowed to ride it either, cause Bo said so. And what Bo says goes.
Smiley baby had a great time at the park today.

What goes around comes around. Jack is getting a taste of his own medicine! Looks like he will be his little brother's servant for quite a while.
ReplyDeleteI love how much Bo talks. And smiles. I mean, I know you tell stories of him being a holy terror, but at least he looks innocent in pictures.
