And The Winner Is...

CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS! 

Remember in the post Wait, You Want To Try Out For What?, where I mentioned the Elf Suit?  And that Justice really has no shame in his game?  

Well, during the week of the Book Fair, they always have a contest for who dresses up as the best book character.  Justice always half-heartedly dresses up just to say he participated, but never pulls out the stops to try and win.  Last year I think he wore his Diary of a Wimpy Kid T-shirt and that was about it.  This year, he wanted to win.  And what better way to win than to wear a pair of underwear over your clothes?

Me:  "Dude, if you wear that you are going to get teased ALL DAY LONG."

Justice:  "I'm also going to win."

Me:  "Is that all you care about?  Winning?"

Justice:  "Yeah, pretty much."

And off to school he went, cape flapping and white briefs gleaming brightly.

And he won.  And he got teased mercilessly all day long.  He didn't care.

Me:  "Did you get teased?"

Justice:  "Only until I won." (He starts laughing).  They announced my name and BAM!  It's quiet all of the sudden as everybody is like 'Justice is a winnnnerrrrrrr'."  (He laughs again)

Oh Justice, most days I am so glad you don't give a rat's behind what other people think of you.  Other days, I picture you at a college party with your cape and white underwear on and I start to sweat.   Here's to hoping you continue to use your powers for good and not evil.
