The Coach is going to be the head coach of Jack's football team this season. In keeping with the theme of yesterday's post about teetering on the edge of having underweight kids, I present this picture. This is the football roster for Jack's football team. Sorted, of all things, by weight because apparently that's pretty important in football. And there is Jack, right smack dab at the top of the list. And that's not a type-o, the kid that rounds out the bottom of the list weighs a whopping 95 pounds. I'm guessing he'll be tackling folks.
I have my fingers crossed that Jack has an all-right season. The thought of a 95 pounder tackling my 43 pounder makes me slightly ill. Justice was always at the top of the list too, but he was fast as lightning and in order to tackle him you had to catch him. Jack doesn't like to run, he likes to tackle people. He hits hard, but it takes more than 43 pounds to take down a 95 pounder.
Good luck Jack. I will have my eyes closed a lot this season, I can already tell.
